Our objective is to help households reduce their energy consumption and energy bills, to improve household energy standards, increase home insulation and encourage alternative heating systems.
Thanks to funding from the Energy Redress Fund and Perth and Kinross Council, our team of experienced energy efficiency experts are able to provide a free, professional energy advice service to households, private landlords and tenants to help them reduce their energy bills and meet Scottish Government energy efficiency targets.
Since 2017, the Project has delivered direct energy saving advice to over 700 households across Perthshire, helping achieve significant savings in energy bills – including helping more than 65 households clear nearly £40,000 of household energy debt via the Scottish Government Home Heating Fund.
We have also helped households to install new insulation, and alternative heating systems, contributing to a reduction in annual CO2 emissions in the area of more than 5,000 tonnes.
