An integral part of the Trust, our popular Booklore shop is run entirely by a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. Open since 2011, this community bookshop is fantastic source of second-hand books, both fact and fiction. There's something for everyone – and our volunteers are always on hand to help you out.

Any surplus income received from the bookshop is set aside to fund community projects in the town.

Within Booklore, you will also find examples of work by some of our talented local artists and creatives – and these are for sale too.

Pop in and lose yourself in this little oasis of calm just off the main Blairgowrie high street. You never know what unique or long-sought after book you might leave with.

Would you like to volunteer with us?

If you think you'd like to volunteer in the bookshop for a couple of hours or so a week, please, get in touch. It's good fun, and full training and support will be given. Email admin@brdt.org.uk for more information.
